Pretoria sits close enough to Johannesburg that "soccer kits for sale in pretoria" searches are really asking two different questions at once: what does a team kit cost, and is it worth the drive to see one in person rather than ordering blind. Both questions have a clear answer, and the distance changes the calculation more than most buyers expect.

This guide covers current combo pricing, whether an in-person visit to Ronex's Johannesburg store makes sense for a Pretoria-based team, and how to order confidently either way.

How Much Do Soccer Kits Cost for a Pretoria Team?

Full 15-player combo sets typically range from R1,899 to R3,495, depending on the fabric grade and whether the print includes extra detail beyond a plain number and crest. Smaller formats sit well below that, with 5-a-side kits from around R550 and 11-a-side kits from R1,200.

A coach comparing options should treat that price range as the fabric and print cost, not a sign that the cheaper end is lower quality kit. The included items, tops, shorts, goalkeeper set, socks and bag, stay the same across the range.

Is Ronex's Johannesburg Store a Realistic Option for Pretoria Buyers?

Yes, and this is genuinely different from a buyer in Durban or Cape Town asking the same question. Pretoria sits roughly 55 kilometres from Ronex's Johannesburg store on Main Reef Road, Crown Mines, which is close enough for a same-day visit rather than a multi-hour trip.

That distance is short enough that a club treasurer wanting to check fabric quality or try sample sizes before committing to a 15-player order can reasonably do that in person, something that is simply not practical for most of the country.

Ordering Online vs Visiting in Person

Ordering online is faster and works fine once you already trust the sizing, since the size chart on each product page covers the same combo sets sold in-store. Here's the thing: a first-time buyer who has never handled a Ronex kit typically benefits more from the drive than the time saved by ordering blind.

A repeat buyer reordering the same combo for a new season, on the other hand, rarely needs to visit again, since the fabric and fit are already a known quantity from the previous order.

What's Included in a Team Kit Combo?

A standard 15-player set includes 14 numbered playing tops, 14 matching shorts, a separate goalkeeper top and short, 15 pairs of socks, and a team kit bag to keep everything together between matches.

Checking that the goalkeeper piece is genuinely distinct, not just an outfield jersey in another colour, is worth doing whether you order online or in person, since a proper goalkeeper top usually has a different collar cut or padded elbows built in.

Choosing the Right Kit Size Before You Order

Youth and adult sizing inside the same combo range is not automatically interchangeable, so a Pretoria club with a mixed-age squad should confirm the supplier can split one order across both size groups. This matters more for teams with players still growing into their kit than for an all-adult side.

If you do make the drive to the Johannesburg store, bring your squad's rough size spread with you. Trying on two or three sample sizes on the spot typically resolves sizing questions faster than a back-and-forth over email afterward.

The Real Question Before You Order in Pretoria

Choosing between ordering online and driving to Johannesburg usually comes down to whether you already know how the fabric and sizing feel, not which option is technically faster. A short trip to check both in person the first time typically pays for itself in fewer sizing mistakes on every order that follows.
